M.B., Ch.M.; F.R.A.C.S. : Lieutenant-Colonel, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., Gallipoli, Egypt and Palestine. Enlisting and sailing in May, 1915, was in Gallipoli as relieving R.M.O. 9th and 3rd Battns. After the Evacuation went to No. 14 Australian General Hospital, Cairo. From March, 1917, served with 2nd A.L.H. Field Ambulance in Palestine from Gaza through Jerusalem and Jordan Valley to Amman and elsewhere until demobilisation. Promoted maior, 20th Tune, 10 17; temporary lieutenant-colonel, 15th January, 1919. Tutor in Obstetrics. Early education at The King''s School. Later at St. Andrew''s College.
