Enlisting 27th February, 1915, and sailing 15th May, served with No. 3 Australian General Hospital at Lemnos from July, 1915, to January, 1916, at Abbassia till September and Brighton till December. Then was with No. 1 A.G. Hospital, Rouen, till May, 1918, when transferred to Corps H.O., and thence to London (Education Service) 30th September, returning 9th January, 1920. Mentioned in Despatches. Registrar, Education Department. Early education at The School , Mount Victoria.
