LL.B.; B.A. (Oxon.) : Lieutenant, n th Battn., A.I.F., Gallipoli and France. Enlisting 10th May, 1915, and sailing 6th June with 6th Reinforcements, joined battn. on Peninsula 7th August, was wounded on 12th and evacuated to hospital, returning to Anzac in October. Crossing to France, served with battn. at Fleurbaix, Pozieres, Flers, Bullecourt, Ypres and elsewhere, returning 3rd July, 1920. Promoted secondlieutenant, 5th August, 1916, and lieutenant, 21st November. Professor of Law, University of Western Australia. Member of Magdalen and Wadham Colleges.
