M.B., Ch.M. : Captain, A.A.M.C., A.I.F., France. Enlisting 2nd October, 1916, and sailing 7th January, 1917, served at No. 2 Australian General Hospital, Wimereux, from 20th April to 29th May. Then joining 6th Australian Field Ambulance, became R.M.O. 26th Battn., M.O. 10th Casualty Clearing Station and R.M.O. 1st Field Artillery Brigade, returning to ambulance 23rd December and remaining with it until 21st May, 1918. Transferred to n th A.F.Amb. till September, then to No. 1 A.A.H. and No. 2 A.G.H. and 7th A.F.Amb. Rejoining 6th Ambulance, 9th October, served until invalided on 30th, and on recovery at No. 1 Australian Dermatological and No. 3 Australian Auxiliary Hospitals, returning in February, 1920.
